Of Knowledge: Judgements of the Ignorant.

Updated: Jun 13, 2022

One time I experienced something that kept me pondering for days. So my little brother was looking at the blue prints plans of a certain building. I observed his facial reaction of confusion immediately he looked at them.

However, the first thing he inquired with a lot of vigor and confidence was, “Mum, aren’t these blueprints wrong?” I laughed in amazement of how judgmental his ignorance made him. Okay, we may over look the fact that he didn’t know what he was looking at but the judgment of how wrong they were was just another level!

Actually, this has turned out to be evident in most situations in the world today. The lives of many have been destroyed by ignorance, families have separated, relationships have failed all in the name of ignorance! The fact that something is new or not known to certain people places it in the category of the ‘wrong’. People nowadays consider whatever they don’t know as wrong and condemn it immediately without taking time to understand the concept.

I’m not saying that you should listen and embrace all that comes to you all I’m saying is that it’s expedient to judge with understanding or not at all.

What you don’t know isn’t wrong! Conservatism will take you no further than where you are. Trying new ideas and discoveries that have proven results is not wrong. All you need is the wisdom to discern when something is not legit to try out.

The Bible says you shall know them by their fruit, which means the results of a concept, idea or doctrine can be judged by its fruit because there can be many ways which can lead to one final answer.

Dear Reader, that business will go nowhere if you can’t try out new ideas, your grades will remain stunted if you can’t try different methods of learning! Ministry will not be prosperous if you impose doctrine on the Gospel you preach that’s not truth.

We grow in stages, we learn in phases. As you walk in this life dear reader cultivate a life of seeking knowledge. Learn new things! Try them out! Explore ideas and new inventions; Knowledge is the stability of our times! Invest time in wisdom for it is profitable to direct!

If the axe is blunt, and one doesn't sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; but skill brings success. Ecclesiastes 10:10 ESV
