Mystery time!!! 😌

Mystery time!!! This one time I was watching a video Dr. Myles Munroe made on the Spirit of Leadership and he said something very profound.

He said and I quote,

“Attitude is the Product of Belief”

Which at that point is something I thought and perceived as a phrase maybe he used in the name of being inspirational and giving us something worth writing as a bullet in the notes till it hit me! :

Y’all know that I prove all things by scripture (yes and I do mean everything, comment below if you want me to write about how and why I do) and so another time, I land on this:

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. -Proverbs 23:7

And I was like hold up! Why does it say as he “thinks” so IS he (implying the present continuous nature of the person is determined by his thoughts) ?

Does that mean that every single thought that crosses our minds defines us? ☹️

And again sweet sweet Holy Spirit (my bestie and Bible study guide if I might add) 😩 took me deeper, erased my ignorance in the flash of an eye and took me on a search in the Hebrew where I discovered that the word used for thinketh there is “sha’ah” pronounced ‘shawar’ which is literally translated to mean to open up (as though a gate).

Which brings us to a summation in the dissecting of this mystery, it’s not the thoughts that come up into your brain that define you but it’s those that not only come up but also you yield and open your self to receive them into your conscience or embrace them as truth (which if you look at requires a sense of believing in those thoughts. Don’t you think?)

So Belief in those thoughts defines your attitude rather your attitude is simply the response of your self conscience towards the thoughts you’ve embraced!

To be continued….

Recently someone asked me a question, he said 'How do you see life?' Pondering through my panting after pulling through my last couple of lunges to finish my workout I paused, and before I responded h

The biggest gap between your goals and where you are now is execution. The world has been designed to develop a system that automatically plans a life for you if you don’t step in and do it yourself!
